Rajasthan PET exam is conducted each year to fill the vacant seats of various engineering colleges in Rajasthan. It is also widely known as REAP i.e Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process. Well in order to take admission to some of the prestigious engineering institution in the state, the students has to go through certain proceedings. Having a RPET score shall enable you to take admission in any of such colleges in Rajasthan.
RPET is conducted in order to fill the remaining 50 percent of the seats in engineering colleges. The initial process involves allocation of seats to the aspiring students based on Joint Entrance Examination Mains scores. So, if you are seeking admission to any of the engineering colleges in Rajasthan, you can get two chances. One if you have a valid JEE Mains scores and the other is a valid RPET score.
RPET Counselling Process
In order to take admission in engineering colleges for the academic season 2019-17, you will need to qualify RPET 2019. If you have already done that than it will become a much easier process for you. Once the candidates get their RPET scores, they will need to sit for the online counselling. The students will be allotted a seat in any of the engineering colleges based on their merit list and availability of the seats in respective colleges.
In order to appear for online counselling, the candidates need to apply for the online counselling process by registering their names. This can be done with the user id and password, which they got while applying for RPET 2019 examination. After that, the candidates will need to pay a nominal counselling fee as so to make them eligible for the process.
Once the candidates have selected the colleges of their choice, seats will be allotted to them in a given time interval. After that, they will have to take the hard copy of seat allotment notice to their respective colleges to ensure their admission. If they fail to do so, their candidature will get null and void.
Reservation as per the Government norms
The seat allocation will be done keeping in mind the reservations norms as per government rules.
- 16 percent of seats is reserved for SC Candidates
- 3 percent for candidates with disability
- 25 percent for women
- 21 percent is reserved for OBC candidates.
RPET Counselling 2019 RPET process, allotment, admission through AIEEE
Rajasthan Engineering Entrance Test (REAP) 2019 was conducted by Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan at different examination centers. REAP is also named as Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET) 2019. RPET 2019 Counselling will be held for Candidates who want to pursue various under graduate engineering programs in the state of Rajasthan. RPET Counselling 2019 has started in the month of July 2019.The counselling will be strictly based on the merit list.
Candidates will be getting seats according to the merit list. Candidates can go to the official website for checking the seat allotment result. Candidates need to report at the respective institute where seats are allotted to the candidates based on merit list. It is mandatory to go and report at the institution. Candidates should remember to carry all required documents to the institute, which will be verified for confirmation.

REPT 2019 counselling fees
Candidates who have passed in exam and are going to appear for Counselling, have to submit fee of Rs 10,000 for candidates residing in Rajasthan and Rs 11,000 for candidates residing outside Rajasthan.

The candidates are requested to exercise their options very carefully. Once the option form is submitted no changes in the form can be made so fill the option form very carefully.
Candidates must check the counselling schedule, which is available at the official website www.techedu.rajasthan.gov.in.
Seats are allotted in the following manner. 70% of the total number of seats are reserved through RPET, 15% seats are reserved through AIEEE and 15% seats are reserved through management quota.
Candidates who have qualified in the AIEEE or JEE mains 2019 can also get admission to colleges in Rajasthan. The candidates will have to go through the same counselling process.
